11.23The fishery and solar power cogeneration plant of TCC CHA-CHIEN Green Energy Corporation at Budai of Chiayi broke ground. This installation combining solar power and a fish farm is the first of its kind in Taiwan. This solar project can result in a win-win-win result for fishery, renewable energy creation, and the environment.

09.23The ready-mix concrete plants of TCC in Kaohsiung, Xiaogang, and Luzhu were ranked as outstanding green purchasers by the Environmental Protection Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government.

09.20The first one in Taiwan! The BOO project of the cement kiln co-processing of wastes at the Hoping Cement Plant in Hualien passed the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). This is a new milestone For TCC’s circular economy goal to turn household wastes into resources.

08.15TCC DAKA, an Open Eco-Factory, unveiled the “DAKA Musical Village” project and held the “DAKA Musical Village Opening Party," a large-scale concert.

08.13TCC Green Energy, a subsidiary of TCC, and E-One Moli Energy jointly won the bid of the “Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) Frequency Regulation Ancillary Services” project offered by Taiwan Power Corporation, which allowed TCC to emerge as the only other contractor in Taiwan in providing service in the capacity of 5.2MWh, the other contract is Tesla.

07.30TCC completed the accreditation of the carbon footprints of our Portland I type cement and 3000psi concrete and passed the review by the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan for the setting of Product Category Rules (PCR) for cement products. 8/6 TCC was granted the first cement product carbon label in Taiwan.

07.16TCC pledged to Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to set the target of reducing carbon emission by 11% in 5 years and emerged as the first cement enterprise in Greater China and East Asia that has completed target setting of the Science Based Target (SBT).

04.28TCC won first place in the “traditional industry group” of CSR annual survey conducted by GlobalView Monthly. It is unprecedented that Global View has granted such an award to a cement enterprise for the first time in 16 years, the highest honor of the traditional industry in Taiwan.

01.09Phase I site of TCC DAKA, an Open Eco-Factory, was launched to the public. This site is not for profit-seeking. On Apr. 10th, TCC DAKA was the first large-size manufacturer of Taiwan that was granted with the Tourism Factory Mark. On Nov. 20th, the TCC DAKA washroom area was evaluated by the Environmental Protection Administration as five-star public toilet and among the top 50 public toilets in Taiwan. On Nov. 24th, won the popularity excellence award from DailyView. TCC DAKA won the network volume champion as a tourism factory in the first six months of operation.
