12.31The first phase cement plant (2-clinker rotary kilns with 6,000 tons of daily production) in the Yingde plant at Guangdong began construction.

12.31The cement grinding plant with annual slag production of 700,000 tons at the Liuzhou plant at Guangxi was under construction. The construction was expected to finish in April 2005 and start to operate at the same time.
