Friendly Workplace

At TCC, we take diversity, inclusion, and health as our core values to unleash the unlimited potential of every partner.

Energetic TCC

TCC is committed to creating an energetic and friendly work environment where every employee can feel respected, cared for, and supported.
Through promoting various activities, we aim to enhance employees' overall well-being and team cohesion.

Three Major Sports Events

TCC regularly participates in three major annual sports events - Dragon Boat Race, Taroko Marathon, and Sun Moon Lake Swimming Carnival. To encourage employees to adopt regular exercise habits, TCC guarantees participation spots and five-star hotel accommodations and meals. Through joint training and competition, these activities not only improve physical strength and endurance but also foster friendship and better teamwork among employees.

TCC Round-the-Island Cycling Challenge

TCC held its first nine-day-eight-night cycling round-the-island challenge, with 90 employees from across Taiwan taking turns to cover a total distance of 950 kilometers, passing through various TCC plants and subsidiaries. Participants cycled an average of over 100 kilometers daily, pushing their limits while cultivating team spirit and willpower.

Family Day

TCC regularly holds Family Day events, inviting employees, their families, and retired colleagues to join in. These events promote cross-generational exchange and the sharing of experiences, while allowing everyone to enjoy memorable moments together.

Diversity and Inclusion

TCC Group spans six generations, actively promoting cross-generational communication and collaboration. Upholding the spirit of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, we prioritize employee needs through three main aspects: Gender Equality, Generational Integration, and Racial Inclusion, addressing key issues in corporate talent structure. We strive to cultivate a people-centered corporate culture that fosters a fair, vibrant, and inclusive workplace.

DEI Diverse Culture

With its global presence, TCC's domestic and international employees come from a multitude of racial and cultural backgrounds. To promote cross-cultural understanding, TCC organizes a variety of activities in a relaxed and engaged manner, nurturing stronger connections among employees across regions. These include Christmas dinners featuring traditional Italian Christmas cuisine, Italian cultural work exchanges, birthday celebrations, and more. Additionally, indigenous employees are given leave to participate in seasonal ceremonies, supporting the preservation of their culture.

To support foreign employees living and working in Taiwan, TCC provides resources such as housing rental assistance, medical assistance, dedicated transportation to energy project sites, and more. Furthermore, we help them adapt to life in Taiwan and integrate into the local workplace culture by offering Chinese language and Taiwanese culture courses. In addition, we are planning to launch living assistance programs for foreign employees.

Strong Generation
  • Key Talent Development Program

TCC offers a two-year training program for non-executive and middle managers, aimed at developing and strengthening middle management talent. The program combines shared learning resources with the business bureau, covering technical core competencies, management skills, and diverse soft skills courses. We also provide customized training based on employees' development needs, including one-on-one English speaking and social skills training, as well as historical and cultural background of countries where staff may be assigned. This approach develops international talent, localized generalists, and well-rounded technical professionals.

  • Financial Management Seminars

The Strong Generation often serves as the spiritual and financial pillar of their families. TCC has found that employees of this generation have varying levels of financial literacy. To support them, we organize a series of financial planning seminars to help their understanding of retirement fund risks and calculation methods, supporting their stable employment.

Senior Experience Sharing

Recruitment of Senior Professionals

Manufacturing involves extensive on-site operations that often depend on hands-on experience for efficient setup. To support the growth of younger teams and ensure the transfer of expertise, we bring in experienced professions as consultants to pass down knowledge and technical skills across generations.

Gender Inclusivity

Set female employee targets to help shatter the glass ceiling and promote gender equality in the workplace.

TCC's business has long been focused on building materials, with some roles involving physically demanding work, so there are generally more male applicants for these jobs.

TCC has set a target for the proportion of female employees, planning that by 2025, the proportion of female employees in the cement and battery businesses (STSP Plant & Xiaogang Plant) and NHOA will reach 22%. We use gender-neutral wording in recruitment advertisements, formulated an Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy, and continue to communicate this through internal meetings or announcements. We also provide an online anonymous feedback platform, offering employees a support system that ensures a sense of security.

Cross-Disciplinary Talent

TCC is committed to fostering diverse development among its employees, encouraging them to leverage their strengths, contribute different perspectives, and drive breakthrough innovations for TCC.

TCC regularly provides internal transfer opportunities and handles all applications and evaluations with confidentiality, promoting internal talent mobility and the integration of technologies or resources. At the same time, we encourage employees to participate in external long and short-term courses, seminars, or workshops, offering tuition subsidies to strengthen their soft skills.

Healthy Workplace

Sustainable Health and Lifestyle Festival

TCC launched the new Sustainable Health and Lifestyle Festival, integrating health concepts into the corporate culture.

The event includes initiatives such as promoting healthy cuisine, health knowledge dissemination, daily calorie-burning challenges, and a sustainable achievement fun competition, taking practical actions to create TCC's exclusive online sustainable forest. These activities not only promote physical health but also contribute to global sustainability, motivating employees to maintain regular exercise habits outside of work while reducing carbon footprints and achieving a healthy lifestyle. This enhances communication and emotional connections among employees, significantly improving team cohesion.

Health Seminars

TCC is committed to improving employees' overall health awareness by inviting external professional nurses, nutritionists, physicians, and psychologists to lead health seminars.

The seminars cover four major themes: healthy exercise, healthy diet, healthy lifestyle, and psychological health, helping employees adopt proper exercise routines, make healthy food choices, prevent metabolic syndrome and related health issues, and manage stress to maintain psychological balance. These efforts support overall physical and mental well-being, enabling employees to thrive both at work and in life.

Employee Cafeteria - Healthy Dining

TCC is promoting the trial implementation of the Ministry of Health and Welfare's healthy plate program in its employee cafeteria, providing nutritious meals that are low in oil, salt, and calories. By continuously adjusting flavors and enhancing menu variety, TCC has effectively raised employees' awareness and support for healthy eating, helping them maintain good health in both at work and in everyday life.

Fitness Center

The Operation Headquarters features a fitness center that is open year-round and equipped with an aerobics room, pool tables, free basketball machines, and premium massage chairs.

Aerobic exercise classes are held twice a week, including yoga and aerobic exercises, to promote employees' physical health and reduce work pressure.

Professional trainers are invited to provide guidance, ensuring that employees exercise in a safe environment and receive proper instruction.

Sports Clubs

We encourage employees to form a variety of sports clubs, such as basketball, badminton, and softball clubs, and provide equipment, venues, and financial subsidies. Regular inter-club matches or social activities are held to enhance communication and teamwork among employees.
