TCC DAKA RRRC

Sustainable Innovation: Shaping TCC's Vision for Sustainability

In the global shift toward a low-carbon economy, the utilization of waste resource has become a key priority. TCC has established the TCC DAKA Renewable Resource Recycling Center (RRRC) with innovative technology, providing an efficient waste treatment solution for the Hualien area while setting a new benchmark for green buildings and the circular economy.

TCC DAKA RRRC was designed by internationally renowned architectural firm KPF, with a height of 9 floors. Its design concept is a MIXED USE approach for future cities, with an ecological valley shape inspired by the mountain terrain of Hoping Village. The building features overlapping elliptical forms, resembling planetary celestial bodies moving through the intersecting space-time of the universe.

In the future, environmental education certification will be applied for, making it Taiwan's first demonstration site that integrates environmental education with waste recycling and utilization.
