The "2023 Global Green Skills Report" released by LinkedIn, the world's largest professional networking site, shows that as climate change intensifies, industries worldwide are facing transformation, and talents capable of addressing climate change are in high demand. Jobs related to green skills have grown by about 23% over the year. TCC, actively undergoing a green transformation and laying out its global carbon competitiveness, has launched the "2024 TCC Climate Action Talent Recruitment Plan." Additionally, it has developed the "Climate Action Talent Online QUIZ" to allow those looking to change careers and newcomers to the workforce to easily test with a single click whether they have the potential to be climate adaptation, mitigation, or comprehensive talents. Consequently, in the ten major job categories released by TCC, including carbon management, ESG strategy, low-carbon construction materials, green resource recycling, ternary lithium batteries, renewable energy, energy storage, integrated photovoltaic charging and storage, electricity trading, and smart AI, areas for potential development have been identified. Join the TCC team that spans across five continents and 13 countries, dedicated to the well-being of the Earth. This year, TCC has also for the first time utilized two AI generators, ChatGPT and Midjourney, incorporating parameters (prompts) such as personality traits, competencies, and workplace characteristics required by various business entities. This resulted in the creation of 6 AI virtual spokespersons for different job vacancies, engaging in dialogue with Generation Z job seekers who have grown up in a digital environment. This also highlights TCC's tight grasp on the opportunities and challenges brought about by trends such as AI.

TCC has primarily focused on the cement market across Taiwan and Mainland China. Since 2017, TCC has actively pursued carbon reduction and green initiatives to internationalize its operations. It is expected to complete the expansion of investments in Turkey and Portugal by March 2024, extending TCC’s reach across Europe, Asia, and Africa, and becoming a leading supplier of the world's lowest-carbon cement; In 2024, Molicel, the international battery cell brand under TCC, will commence construction in Vancouver, Canada, on the world's first low-carbon, high-power battery cell factory that operates 100% on green electricity. As highlighted in the trend report by the globally renowned consulting firm McKinsey, the world has entered an era of green scale competition, with investors focusing on carbon reduction unicorns. Developing carbon technology and carbon competitiveness requires 7 key capabilities, including AI-assisted R&D, energy storage and electricity trading, leading industrial technology, supply chain management, new technology development, outstanding business models, and sustainable operating models. These align with the low-carbon transformation of TCC over the past 6 years, and its three major development focuses: low-carbon construction materials, resource recycling, and green energy.

This year, TCC has released a total of 36 job openings in ten major areas, including batteries, energy storage, low-carbon construction materials, carbon management, and intelligent AI, actively encouraging professionals and newcomers who are interested in participating in global climate action. TCC is also expanding its recruitment of "Generative AI Engineers." TCC Information System Corporation points out that the biggest advantage of TCC compared to the semiconductor and technology industries is its span across 11 different industries, offering a vast space for the practical training of AI models, and is committed to cross-industry applications. TCC Information System Corporation now has a generative AI team, which is successively developing charging station customer service systems for the subsidiary companies of TCC. TCC has established the "TCC AI Multinational Document Management System" to assist TCC, which is currently expanding internationally, in breaking through language barriers between its parent company and subsidiaries in 13 countries. This is achieved through the use of "Large Language Models (LLM)," facilitating cooperation and the transfer of innovative technology development across different languages. TCC Information System Corporation has expanded to form a generative AI team, which will not only utilize generative AI for optimal ESG management but will also assist Molicel, a high-end battery brand under TCC, in establishing a high-power battery cell factory in Canada. This includes factory planning and simulating production conditions to develop refined strategies.
