I deliberately used a more dramatic approach to introduce TCC, making it appear fresh and bright. In reality, a cement company is built bag by bag of cement, not as it appears today. Taiwan's economic development, including its high-tech advancements, was also founded on infrastructure-built bag by bag of cement, creating the society and economic environment we see today.

“Seventy years” marks the journey of a lifetime for an individual.

“Seventy years” also symbolizes the growth of a tree—from a tiny seed breaking through the earth, receiving sunlight, air, water, and nature's gifts, firmly rooting in the ground, growing upward, and eventually spreading lush branches, offering enduring shelter and shade for future generations.

This year marks the 70^th anniversary of TCC's transformation into a private enterprise,

the first year of its globalization journey, and a year fraught with challenges.

Mainland China's cement demand plummeted, eastern Taiwan was devastated by a powerful earthquake, and typhoons struck one after another.

Challenges are like winds brushing past branches, nurturing wisdom along the way.

Nature's rhythms guide us through the passage of time, scattered among falling leaves.

We feel the importance of persevering and steadily advancing.

The chirping of birds resonates like a symphony at dawn, lifting spirits and soothing daily hardships.

Sunlight dances on dewdrops, reflecting the brilliance of blooming flowers,

echoing TCC's unwavering commitment to overcoming challenges in work and within our hearts.

In nature's embrace, we find solace and peace, discovering direction under the changing stars.

This journey deepens our understanding of the coexistence of civilization and nature,

the resonance between life and the earth, and the shared connection within the human spirit.

2024 marks the first year of TCC’s globalization journey.

At COP29, ongoing discussions highlight the rapid rise in global carbon dioxide emissions and the continual increase in Earth’s temperature. With accelerating climate change,

from Middle Eastern floods to the first-ever drought in the Amazon River,

our efforts to reduce carbon must also accelerate.

We will continue advancing cement plant technology, upgrading equipment,

and investing in low-carbon product development in Africa and Europe.

This is TCC’s commitment to the world, driving decarbonization.

Low-carbon cement is the evolved fruit of our resilience through challenges—

a material that is more advanced, eco-friendly, durable, of higher quality,

aligned with future trends, and indispensable for tomorrow’s construction needs.

TCC is diving deep into the new wellspring of future trends,

producing advanced low-carbon cement, including ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) for energy storage systems,

and creating permeable concrete from recycled construction waste,

all in the spirit of circular economy.

Human history is, at its core, a history of energy—a journey of discovery and utilization.

Humanity’s encounter with energy catalyzed the birth of civilization,

and energy is destined to be the cornerstone of future civilization.

The emergence of AI has further accelerated our need for electricity.

Next year, TCC will expedite its global energy deployment,
